My stay at the Backeddy Resort was absolutely delightful, with stunning views and a variety of outdoor activities right at my doorstep. The little waterfront cabin was a highlight, boasting jaw-dropping scenery. The on-site pub served some excellent food, particularly their fish and chips, which I highly recommend. However, the garden view room did have some issues and I think it’s important to note that it’s quite secluded, which may not suit everyone.

I stayed in a charming tiny home waterfront cabin that was clean and comfortable, although the garden view room I had previously looked into had a few minor issues.

My stay here was truly a mixed bag. The domes offered a unique experience with stunning views, but there were some significant cleanliness issues that dampened the experience. The location surrounded by nature was fantastic, and the staff was exceedingly helpful. However, the lack of proper amenities and privacy was a letdown.

The dome we stayed in was a cozy concept but unfortunately not very clean when we arrived. The shared bathrooms were also less than ideal.
Service

The staff was incredibly responsive and accommodating, helping us with everything we needed, including when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the car. They were always there to assist without being intrusive.
Location

The location is spectacular, nestled in nature with beautiful views of both the ocean and forest. It's great for those looking to escape into the wilderness.
Dining

Dining options were somewhat limited, especially for breakfast. The food at the pub was enjoyable, but the prices felt steep for what was offered.
Facilities

While the facilities included some basics like a communal fire pit, the cleanliness and maintenance of shared amenities were lacking, which detracted from the overall experience.

We had a lovely time at this resort with stunning views and friendly service, especially from the pub staff. However, the rooms were a bit dated and the internet connection was unreliable. Overall, it's a beautiful spot, but it could use some updates and better Wi-Fi options.

I had an incredible experience at this resort! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service was outstanding. The location is perfect, allowing easy access to beautiful hiking trails and the marina for tours. The dining experience was delightful, but I wish the breakfast options had been a bit more varied. Overall, it's a great value for a peaceful getaway, despite the fact that there is no air conditioning in the cabins.

The Backeddy Resort offers stunning oceanfront views and charming cabins, making it a delightful getaway. The atmosphere at the pub is inviting, and the food is fantastic. However, it can be a bit frustrating if you encounter any service hiccups, as my experience with the cold shower wasn't handled well. Overall, it’s a great place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty around you.

We stayed in a cute cabin with a kitchenette, perfectly cozy for our family. The cabin was basic yet comfortable, equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay.
Service

While the resort staff appeared friendly, the response to our concerns about the shower could have been better. We didn’t feel adequately accommodated during that situation.
Location

The resort is beautifully situated by the ocean and close to various outdoor activities, such as hiking near Skookumchuk Narrows. It felt both secluded and conveniently located.
Dining

Dining at the pub was a highlight, with delicious food, especially the seafood chowder! It was a perfect way to end the day, enjoying a meal with a lovely view.

The facilities were adequate for our needs, but nothing overly luxurious. The wood stove in our cabin added a nice touch to our cozy evenings.
